If you have a good book store around (Barnes and Noble, for example) you could definitely just go there and browse books and magazines. State parks for outdoor activities are cheap. If you have any colleges in your town, keep up with their events. Depending on the size of the school, athletic events may be free or very cheap. Musical events are very often free if there is a music program at the school. That's all I've got--hope it helps.nicolehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06605426195521274662noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5115015423747992964.post-81860661778835750872008-01-09T07:59:00.000-06:002008-01-09T07:59:00.000-06:00This is a pretty boring one, but one of the most i...This is a pretty boring one, but one of the most inexpensive things my husband and I do are rent movies from Redbox. With codes from insideredbox.com (OKed by Redbox), you can get the movies for a night for free. If not, they are only a $1. It's a great way to see new releases without paying the big bucks to go to the theater.

Our other favorites are having game nights.
