Swagbucks

Have you heard of swagbucks? I hadn't either, until today, but I'm going to give it a try!

Swagbucks is a site that allows you to download a little toolbar to go with your Mozilla or Internet Explorer. If you search through the toolbar you can earn points that can be cashed in for gift cards (target, amazon, starbucks, etc.) or other merchandise. Since I frequently find myself searching for things online, I figured I might as well earn a little something while I'm at it!

It gets better because if you refer friends you earn points from their searches too.
Here's the link to sign up!

Jamie,

This sounds intriguing. I don't understand where it "is"? Is it an icon you put on your blog or what?

Here was my response to Carrie's question in case anyone else was curious.
"If you click through to their site
and register for it, there is toolbar you can download for whatever internet browser you use. Then if you look up at the top right hand side of your browser you will have a little search bar through swagbucks.
Since signing up I have discovered you don't earn points for every search...just random ones give you points. Usually just one point but sometimes you can get more. I signed up yesterday and so far have earned a couple of points. I think if you get to 50 you can earn a 5 gift card. So I'll shoot for that and see how quickly they accumulate. I love a free gift card! :-)"
