Take Advantage of the Seasons

Continuing our series on inexpensive entertainment, today we are discussing taking advantage of the seasons! Living in the Midwest means we have 4 distinct seasons each year to take advantage of for entertainment. Though it is still snowing today, spring is just around the corner! During each season there are several activities that are free or low cost. Take advantage of these opportunities yearly to enjoy some inexpensive entertainment!

Think about these spring seasonal activities if you are looking for some family entertainment for the upcoming months!

  • Plant a garden
  • Go on a picnic
  • Take a bike ride
  • Fly a kite
  • Check out some garage sales
  • Share an ice cream sundae with your family
  • Make May Day Baskets
  • Head to your local park

Noticed you said your from the Midwest and getting snow. Are you from MN? Don't you think you should include a snowball fight or fort in those activies?
We plan movie nights w/pizza.
Along with games and cards.
